Two artists approach the subject “landscape”, each from his own, personal perspective. The Lebanese photographer Gilbert Hage investigates the mythical mountain Ararat and its meaning for the Armenian community on Lebanon. In many homes images of the mountain hang in a prominent place. In his painting practice, the Danish artist Felix Pedersen explores the moorland of northern Jutland, which surrounds him in his daily life and plays an important role in the national-romantic art and poetry. Here, he undertakes a conceptual examination of this landscape’s mythical dimension.
