The works of the exhibition “Light Scene“ offer a series of ephemeral scenes, of fleeting impressions of nightly street scenarios. Hardly tangible, they grant us a brief view into the daily life of the people living in these cities or present overlappings of images and memories.

The exhibition Light Scene takes place in the frame of the FORUM for new arab art exchange program. The FORUM is an ongoing, interdisciplinary project that seeks to follow new developments and approaches in contemporary visual practice in the Arab countries. The exchange with artists from other regions and particularly the international art scene of Berlin plays an important role in its activities. It presents a series of events throughout the year, such as exhibitions, video and film screenings, performances and artists’ talks.
